Intern in Software Development (f|m|x)
Your tasks
- You support our product development team or help realize customer projects
- After your initial training, you will work autonomously on a topic – starting with requirements engineering, you will create designs, implement, test and document your work
- Examples for topics include:
- Implementing use cases on all application layers (client, server, etc.),
- evaluating open source libraries and prototypical implementation of use cases in different application areas (e.g. search, installer, NoSQL, reporting),
- UI development with Swing or web technologies
- and so on
- Depending on the topic, we offer the opportunity of an initial training and using the following technologies: Java, JEE using Tomcat, JBoss, IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic, Spring, Hibernate, iBATIS, SQL with Oracle data bases, Microsoft SQL Server, Webservices, JMS, Swing, Wicket, JQuery, CSS, Maven and Ant, Junit, Mockito, Eclipse, as well as other open source libraries
Your skills
- You are an enrolles student (f|m|d) of computer science, business informatics or comparable courses of study
- Ideally, you have some practical experience with Java and web development as well as working with databases and SQL
- You find it easy to familiarize yourself quickly with new tasks
- Your strengths include working autonomously and you enjoy finding complex solutions in a team
- You have good German and English skills
