From an idea to today’s provider of maximum efficiency with regulatory certainty.
Founded in Germany in 1997, we set out with one idea: to build better, faster, smarter automation software. Financial services soon became our focus. An anti-money laundering solution for clients in Liechtenstein was followed by clients in other countries — laying the foundation for our solutions for regulated industries.
Our business grew internationally, too. With offices in Chicago (2007) and Singapore (2016), we expanded our customer relationships across the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region.
With Hans-Jürgen Rieder, ACTICO’s CEO since 2020, a new chapter began — defined by growth, new business areas, and technological advancement.
In 2022, we added Asset Administration to our portfolio through Fact Informationssysteme GmbH. Its long-standing expertise and specialized solutions for investment administration, regulatory reporting, fund data exchange, and investment tax reporting broadened our offering and strengthened our position, particularly in the German insurance market.
In 2023, we introduced our next software generation: cloud-ready Compliance Solutions with greater flexibility, an intuitive user interface, and new AI capabilities. In parallel, we launched a new SaaS generation for Commercial Credit Risk Assessment, built on the Salesforce technology stack.
2024 marked the start of our next AI era. Generative AI entered our products, supporting business users with complex tasks. Agentic AI took the next step: AI agents now handle time-consuming routine work — at the speed and scale of AI. Approvals and decisions remain with your experts. Our course is clear: AI for regulated industries that opens up new possibilities while meeting the highest standards of control and traceability.
In 2026, we continued our growth path with another milestone: we joined forces with Axe Finance, a global provider of credit and risk management software. Its modular platform extends our Credit Risk offering with loan origination, early warning, and collections. Together, we now cover the entire credit lifecycle — end to end. We also gained a presence in the Middle East and Africa and strengthened our footprint in Asia-Pacific.
