Spreading financial statements and performing a financial risk analysis are key processes in commercial and corporate lending. Inefficiencies in these process steps can lead to lengthy underwriting and processing times.
ACTICO transforms the process of spreading financials. It offers the unique possibility of combining an automated application to extract data from financial statements with a comprehensive feature set for spreading and analysis of financial statement data. This allows financial institutions to streamline the underwriting processes, increase efficiencies, and improve data quality.
What sources of financial statement data are available?
Financial statement data can be sourced from a variety of internal and external data sources. The ACTICO Spreading Agent for example automatically extracts financial information from comprehensive financial documents. Sometimes, customers also want to manually capture financials via the web UI or import the data from existing internal or external systems and tools.
Can I create my own spreading template?
Yes, the Credit Risk Platform provides a spreading template editor to define custom spreading templates. This includes the chart of accounts and all derived / calculated values and ratios. The spreading template can also contain spreading guidelines which help the ACTICO Spreading Agent to spread and map the data from source documents.
Can I create my own projection template?
Yes, the projection template must be aligned with the different spreading templates. In a projection template, administrators can define the list of drivers, driver types and create custom formulas to be applied during the projection. When doing a projection as a financial analyst, users can capture key assumptions for all risk drivers.
What accounting standards does the tool support?
The solution is agnostic to the accounting standards used by the reporting companies. Both, the spreading templates and the mapping rules for automated spreading can configured as per the bank’s spreading guidelines.
We already have a spreading tool, what additional value does the Credit Risk Platform provide?
The Credit Risk Platform can import financial statements data from existing legacy systems. After importing the financials in the CRP, users can perform comprehensive financial statement analysis, such as trend, sensitivity and peer group analysis.
