London / Immenstaad, May 8, 2024 – Which software providers are best suited to the current compliance challenges facing the financial sector? The good news for ACTICO customers: The software provider is one of the top 50 companies worldwide that support financial service providers in the fight against money laundering, fraud and financial crime.

FinTech Global considers the current geopolitical and economic landscape to have intensified the challenges faced by financial crime prevention teams.

Three main topics are especially important:
  1. Rapid updates to PEPs and sanctions lists
  2. The complexity introduced by the adoption of real-time payments
  3. The adoption of AI by both criminals and professionals

Based on these challenges, the judges have selected 50 global trend setters which support financial firms with anti-financial crime software. The judges were given the task to review a list of over 400 nominated enterprises.

FinTech Global director Richard Sachar said, “As global financial crime trends continue to rise, compliance teams face growing datasets that outpace traditional tools. Given this pressure financial institutions are increasingly turning to AI to improve their fraud prevention, biometrics, risk management tools, process automation, and data analytics.

“The FinCrimeTech50 list will help senior compliance professionals filter through all the solution providers in the market by highlighting the tech leaders in the market who can help financial institutions stay ahead of fraudsters and criminals in 2024 and beyond.”
