Axe Finance is an established provider of credit and risk management software and serves more than 45 high-profile financial institutions in more than 29 countries. Its core product, the Axe Credit Portal, is a modular, end-to-end software platform covering the full credit lifecycle, from loan origination to servicing and collections, with integrated artificial intelligence functionality.
This combination brings together two highly complementary businesses focused on mission-critical credit technology for financial institutions. ACTICO’s leading software for credit risk management and automated decision-making, combined with Axe Finance’s credit platform, creates a broader yet more integrated offering spanning the retail, SME and corporate segments.
Axe Finance is a strong strategic fit for ACTICO. Hans Jürgen Rieder, CEO of ACTICO, commented: “Joining forces with Axe Finance marks a milestone in ACTICO’s journey, fuelling further growth and expansion into new markets. Axe Finance adds a complementary end-to-end credit platform, a broader geographic footprint and deep expertise in complex credit markets. Together, we strengthen our offering to financial institutions and accelerate global expansion.”
Dhafer Berrachid, CEO and Founder of Axe Finance, added: “ACTICO and Axe Finance share a focus on mission-critical credit technology for financial institutions. Together we form a stronger platform with the scale and reach to support banks and lenders in a more digital, regulated market, while sustaining our client focus and culture of innovation.”
Stanislas de Tinguy, Partner at Keensight Capital, concluded: “Axe Finance is a highly strategic addition to ACTICO. This move strengthens the Group’s product offering, expands its geographic footprint and enhances its operational capabilities. We are confident that ACTICO is well positioned to become the global leader in credit and compliance risk management software.”
